We have been a very small family owned and run business with decades of experience in the industry

Ed Lewis worked for the original very first company that designed and built our Tape Applicator. (The original Kleen Stick / Label-aire in California and Chicago) Later this name Kleen Stick was used by an unrelated company in New York. Ed Lewis was the top designer and traveled all over the world helping customers with repairs or any understanding needs for their machines.
Marleen Lewis purchased a machine in 1971 and she started the business taping jobs in Southern California. Ed and Marleen incorporated Tape Service Ltd officially in 1972 and was first location Pico Rivera, Ca. Twenty years later we expanded moving to Santa Fe Springs, Ca. 7 + years ago relocating to Chino, Ca. and was purchased and run by here daughter Wanda Grunwald in Lake Elsinore area. Due to the new location size, California cost, and more, this transition reduced in size. April 2026 at the end of the Corporate year, we closed the business in California and reduced size again moving to Oregon to work on slowing down a little and towards retirement. We plan to keep tape applicator parts and related available as long as possible.
In 1972 the old Kleen Stick decided to retire and close the business. Ed Lewis set up meetings to buy out the rights to continue building the Tape Applicators with success. We patented the equipment and have built and sold the Stik-It Tape applicators all over the world since then. Ed passed away January 2008 but trained his Step-grandson Jason to take his place.
We have specialized, stocked, and distributed machine size rolls of the double sided tape that is used to run on all current types of tape applicators today. We also stock parts for the Stik-it Tape Applicators and airheads. Take time to view our many
